The surveys are part of a research programme funded by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) that was conducted from 2004 to 2007. The main purpose of the research programme was to analyse the effect of education and formation of skills on labour productivity and hence on Thai international competitive advantage and on national economic and social development.
